Sia ? 3 years, 6 months ago

(i) Shahjahanabad was a walled city but this was not the case with the New Delhi. (ii) Shahjahanabad had crowded mohallas and mazes of narrow bylanes. These were not found in New Delhi. There were broad straight streets lined with sprawling mansions set in the middle of large compounds. (iii) New Delhi had better water supply, sewage disposal and drainage facilities.
