Bacterias have same body structure and have cell wall then the antibacterial medicines will destroy its cell wall and then will we killed whereas viruses have different body structure. Therefore it is hard to make antiviral medicines

Because anti bacterial medicines are non living that have few viruses not have own machinery.so,when they enter our body.they use our cells as their machinery and it is harm to us.
