ABCD is a trapezium with parallel sides AB=a & DC=b.if X & Y are the midpoints of AD and BC respectively,then the ratio of areas of quadrilaterals ABXY and DCXY is (3a+b):(a+3b). Why  this is the ratio? Derive it.
