It is rightly said that "as you sow ,so shall you reap". The saying holds true in the light of the circumstances in the poem. The arrival of the Albatross proved auspicious for the sailors. The south wind started blowing...........and many things happened but when mariner killed the bird the ship stop sailing.......and many things happened so, we learned that no one can escape the punishment for sin. One has to face he consequences for the crime he has committed.
