A compound believed not to contain acid hydrogen but to be capable of changing into isomeric compound which is a true acid. I think this definition is correct.

Pseudo acids are potentially acidic compounds that require some structural reorganisation such as keto-enol tautomerisation , having non -negligible activation energy in order to show normal acidic properties , ie. nitro-alkanes .
