Describe three origins of social division

Social differences are originated on the following basis-

• Based on accident of birth-
  (a) Normally, we don‘t choose to belong to one community we belong to it simply because we were born into it.
  (b) We all experience social difference social differences based on accident of birth in our everyday life.
• Based on physical abilities or disabilities-
  (a) There are discrimination based on gender, they are tall or short, have different kinds of complexion or have different physical abilities and disabilities.
  (b) All kinds of social differences are not based on accident of birth.
• Differences based on choices- Differences are based on choices like-
  (a) Some people are atheists, they do not believe in God or any religion.
  (b) Some people choose to follow a religion other than one in which they were born into .
