    Electrical energy consumed = Numberof bulbs x Power of each bulb x Number of hours x Number of days 

                                            = 2 x 40x 8x 7/1000

                                            = 4480 /1000 Kwh

    Total Cost = Rate x Energy consumed

              = 3 x4480/1000

         = 13.44
