Let one angle be x, then its\u00a0supplementary angle be <span class=\"cke_widget_wrapper cke_widget_inline cke_widget_selected\"><span class=\"math-tex cke_widget_element\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/elpiscart.com\/cgi-bin\/mathtex.cgi?\\left( {{{180}^ \\circ } - x} \\right).\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>(8) <strong>Adjacent angles<\/strong> -Two\u00a0<b>angles<\/b>\u00a0are\u00a0<b>Adjacent<\/b>\u00a0when they have a common side and a common vertex (corner point) and don&#8217;t overlap..<\/p>\n<p>(9<strong>) Linear pair<\/strong> &#8211; A\u00a0<b>linear pair<\/b>\u00a0of angles is formed when two lines intersect. Two angles are said to be\u00a0<b>linear<\/b>\u00a0if they are adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines. The measure of a straight angle is 180 degrees, so a\u00a0<b>linear pair<\/b>\u00a0of angles must add up to 180 degrees<\/p>\n<p>(10<strong>) Vertically opposite angles<\/strong> &#8211; Vertically opposite angles are formed when two lines intersect each other at a point.
