In class 12 it is called Compartment\/improvement exam and in class 10 it is named as improvement of performance. Exam will be conducted in mid July 2017.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Compartment_in_Class_12_in_March_2017\"><\/span>Compartment in Class 12 in March 2017<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Here are two cases in class-12: <\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Regular_students_of_March_2017_Exam\"><\/span><strong>(1) Regular students of March 2017 Exam :<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Regular candidates who appeared in March 2017 through schools affiliated to the Board and\u00a0declared as COMPARTMENT are eligible to apply only in one subject in which placed in\u00a0Compartment OR\u00a0<strong>Candidates who have appeared in 6 subjects in March 2017<\/strong> and declared PASS but could not\u00a0clear <strong>one<\/strong> subject can appear in that subject in July 2017 Examination as an Improvement category.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Now, in case of Regular students of March 2017 Exam,<\/strong> contact your school. They will fill your compartment\/ improvement form. Last date without late fee is June 21, 2017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fee and last date for applying compartment exam 2017 for class 12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8584 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/mycbseguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/compartment_fee_2017.png\" alt=\"compartment fee 2017\" width=\"613\" height=\"244\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>In class XII Consolidated marksheet will be issued only to Candidates whose result was\u00a0declared COMPT in 2016\/2017 examination and thereafter declared Pass in Compartment\u00a0July 2017 examination.\u00a0Consolidated marksheet will not be issued to class XII candidates whose result is already Pass and now appearing for Improvement of Performance.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Private_students_class-12\"><\/span>(2) <strong>Private students class-12:\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Candidates who appeared in March 2016 as full subject candidate through schools affiliated to\u00a0the Board and declared as COMPARTMENT and could not pass in Jul 2016 and March 017\u00a0examination should apply privately for Compartment Exam July 2017 through the website. They have to fill form online, submit fee online\/challan and\u00a0Parents\/Candidates may note that confirmation page alongwith enclosures is to be\u00a0submitted to the respective Regional Office by Hand\/Speed Post.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility for private candidates:<\/strong> Candidate declared as COMPARTMENT in March 2017 or March\u00a02016 (who appeared as full subject candidate and placed in\u00a0compartment is eligible to apply only in one subject in which\u00a0he\/she has been placed in Compartment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note for private candidates:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Candidates who appeared in 6 subjects in Examination held in March 2016\/ or March 2017 and\u00a0result is COMPT due to failing in one Main subject and one additional subject; has option to\u00a0apply one of the 2 subject ( main\/ additional). Compartment Examination 2017 will be the last\u00a0chance for candidates who appeared class XII Examination held in March 2016 Examination.<br \/>\n2. Candidates who have appeared in 6 subjects in March 2017 and declared PASS but could not\u00a0clear one subject can appear in that subject in July 2017 Examination as an Improvement\u00a0category.<br \/>\n3. Candidate who have taken 5 subjects and result in FAIL in March 2017 due to failing in 2\u00a0subjects (or more) are not eligible for this Compartment Examination July 2017. Such\u00a0candidates are advised to apply as a Private Candidate for Examination ( in all or 2 subjects) to\u00a0be held in March 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Procedure of submitting online application (for private candidates only)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here is online form for private students :\u00a0<strong>http:\/\/cbseonline.ernet.in\/comptt\/<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Enter your Roll No. School No., Centre No. as mentioned in the admit card.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your address and select the subject (Class XII only)<\/li>\n<li>Submit the application and note down \u201cApplication ID\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Upload your recent Color Photograph (max size 50 KB; JPG) and Signature (max\u00a0size 4 KB; JPG)<\/li>\n<li>Go to Fee payment option and make payment.<\/li>\n<li>Take print of confirmation page<\/li>\n<li>Sign the confirmation page.<\/li>\n<li>Signed copy of confirmation page, copy of Marksheet along with proof of deposited\u00a0Fee (e-Challan) should be sent to \u2018Regional Officer, CBSE Regional Office\u201d within 7\u00a0days as per address given in confirmation page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For any queries candidates may call at CBSE Helpline\u00a0No. 1800-11-8002 or 011-22509257-58-59 between 9.30 AM- 7.00 PM on all working days.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"EIOP_in_Class_10_in_March_2017_Board_Exam\"><\/span>EIOP in Class 10 in March 2017 Board Exam<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Here are three cases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(1) Students who appeared in school based exam<\/strong> in class-10 will appear in improvement of performance through their schools and their school will conduct exam for them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(2)\u00a0Regular Candidates<\/strong> of CBSE affiliated schools who appeared in March 2017 [SA2 under Scheme-2 (Board Based)] and placed in the category EIOP have to apply through their school but exam will be conducted by CBSE board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>In Class X there is <strong>only one chance of Improvement<\/strong> for the candidates who have been awarded EIOP\u00a0in Mar 2017 Examination. In case a candidate of Mar 2017 with EIOP fails to clear the Jul 2017\u00a0examination and gets result NIOP, he\/she will not get any further chance for Improvement. Such\u00a0candidates however can appear afresh for March 2018 Examination with full subjects\u00a0privately\/through CBSE affiliated school.<br \/>\nCandidates who have already PASS in March 2017 Examination and intend to improve their\u00a0performance should apply through Private\/IOP online form during the month of Oct\/Nov 2017.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8585 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/mycbseguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/eiop_10_2017.png\" alt=\"Improvement exam 2017\" width=\"616\" height=\"291\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>(3) Private students in class-10:\u00a0<\/strong>Candidates who have appeared in March 2017 Examination as a Private Candidate and\u00a0placed under compartment (Class XII) or in EIOP (Class X) will be eligible to apply through the\u00a0CBSE website. Details in respect of students who are eligible to apply will be auto-generated in the\u00a0online system. If a candidate makes wrong entries in his\/her application form or submits false\u00a0information, statement or produces false document, his\/her form shall be rejected and fee paid shall\u00a0be forfeited.<br \/>\nMerely Submission of form and fee would not entitle a candidate to appear for the\u00a0Compartment\/IOP Examination and those who are applying for the Examination should ensure\u00a0that they fulfill all eligibility criteria as stipulated in the circular.
