Several other curricular areas remain part of their education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the main points of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cbseacademic.nic.in\/web_material\/Circulars\/2026\/70_Circular_2026.pdf\">CBSE Circular<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In continuation of the Class IX Scheme of Studies for academic session 2026-27, available on CBSE Academic Website, the following shall be applicable in respect of students currently studying in Class IX (2026-27) and progressing to Class X in 2027-28:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Inter-disciplinary Area: <\/strong>To align the introduction of this curricular area with the implementation schedule, the subject &#8220;Individuals in Society&#8221; and the &#8220;Modules of CT &amp; AI&#8221; in Class IX (2026-27) &amp; the subject &#8220;Environmental Education&#8221; in Class X (2027-28) shall not be the part of the curriculum for these batches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vocational Education: <\/strong>Vocational Education shall continue to be a compulsory curricular area for students of Class IX (2026-27) progressing to Class X (2027-28). To fulfil this requirement, students may opt for either the subject &#8220;Kaushal Vikas&#8221;, or any one of the 22 Skill Subjects notified by the Board and available at Annexure-I.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students opting for<strong> Kaushal Vikas shall be assessed internally<\/strong> for this subject. Under the revised scheme, they will appear for their main Class 10 board examinations in the following five subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Language_R1\"><\/span>1.
