It was earlier communicated that the method for declaring results for Class X candidates in this region would be announced separately. Examinations conducted between 17.02.2026 and 28.02.2026 were successfully completed, covering six subjects, including Mathematics, English, and Science. Based on this, CBSE has now decided that the final results will be prepared using students\u2019 performance in the subjects for which examinations were already conducted.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media-mycbseguide.s3.amazonaws.com\/images\/blog\/middle_east_cbse.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Category-wise_Result_Rule\"><\/span>Category-wise Result Rule<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the conduct of the examinations, students fall into several categories depending on the number of subjects they appeared for. These include students who appeared in all examinations, those who appeared in four examinations, those who appeared in three examinations, and those who appeared in two examinations. Additionally, there is a separate category comprising private students who are registered under the compartment category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the conduct of examinations, there are the following cases:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students appeared in all examinations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students appeared in 4 examinations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students appeared in 3 examinations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students appeared in 2 examinations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Private students registered under the compartment category<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Result_Declaration_Formula\"><\/span>Result Declaration Formula<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Accordingly, the results shall be prepared based on the following Assessment Scheme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Students_appeared_in_all_examinations\"><\/span>Students appeared in all examinations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The results of such students will be declared based on their performance in the examinations as usual. However, the number of students who appeared in all the subjects is very limited. So this use case will apply to very few students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Students_appeared_in_4_examinations\"><\/span>Students appeared in 4 examinations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The results of such students will be declared based on the average of the marks obtained in the best three<br>performing subjects for the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted. This implies that if a student\u2019s average score in their best three attempted subjects is 80%, the same percentage will be awarded for all the subjects they were unable to appear for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Students_appeared_in_3_examinations\"><\/span>Students appeared in 3 examinations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The results of such students will be declared based on the average of the marks obtained in the best two<br>performing subjects for the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted. This means that if a student secures an average of 80% in their best two subjects, the same score of 80% will be awarded individually in each of the remaining subjects for which the student did not appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Students_appeared_in_2_examinations\"><\/span>Students appeared in 2 examinations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are very few students who have appeared in the examinations in only 2 subjects. Their results will be declared based on the average of the marks of two subjects in the remaining subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Students_of_2025_or_earlier_registered_only_upto_2_subjects\"><\/span>Students of 2025 or earlier registered only upto 2 subjects<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If these students have appeared in 01 or 02 of their registered examinations, their results will be declared based on their performance. If any examination is left for these students, an opportunity will be given to them to appear in the second Board examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Examination_Centre_Changed\"><\/span>Examination Centre Changed<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students from these countries who have shifted their examination centres to another country will have their results declared based on their actual performance in the examinations they have appeared for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Other_Important_Points\"><\/span>Other Important Points<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The results of students from the Middle East will be declared along with those of other students. They will also be given an opportunity to improve their performance in the second Board examinations, in accordance with the prescribed policy. While preparing the results, the Board may take any additional measures, if required, as deemed appropriate. Internal assessment, being a year-long process, has already been completed and will be considered as submitted by the schools. The results prepared under this assessment scheme will be treated as final, and no special examinations will be conducted under any circumstances other than those scheduled by CBSE as per its policy. The decision of the Board\u2019s competent authority shall be final. The assessment scheme for Class XII will be communicated separately in due course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Result of Middle East students will be declared along with the rest of the students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will be allowed to improve their performance in the second Board examinations as per policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the time of preparation of results, if any other suitable action is required to be taken, the same will be decided and taken by the Board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internal assessment is a yearlong exercise and it has already been completed; hence, the same will be taken as uploaded by the schools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The result prepared using the assessment scheme will be final.
