Last year i.e- 2021 CBSE decided to alter the question paper pattern for class 12 by giving more weightage to MCQs and questions based on case studies. Dr. Emmanuel focussed on the fact that case-based questions would enhance the critical reasoning skills of the students. He emphasized the fact that adding such questions to the examination was a step toward achieving the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP)2020.
