CBSE will conduct compartment examination for class-12 students on July 16, 2015<\/strong>. The examination will be one day event so candidates will have to sit in one paper only. Improvement and compartment examination can not be combined.<\/p>\n

In case you have opted for sixth additional subject but got pass marks in only four subjects, you can apply for compartment exam in any one subject only.<\/p>\n

What if I again fail in compartment examination ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are subsequent three chances of compartment examination in class XII i.e.,
\nif a candidate appeared for 2015 examination and placed in compartment then he
\ncan appear in July the same year, Second Chance in March\/April and Third
\nChance in July of next year.<\/p>\n

I have compartment in Physics. Can I appear in Maths? <\/strong><\/p>\n

No, a candidate placed in compartment at the Senior School Certificate Examination shall be allowed to appear only in those subjects in which he\/she has been placed in compartment.<\/p>\n
