The Board has decided to bring in the digital system in two phases which may help the evaluation process and minimize the scope for errors.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first phase will begin in March 2013 with Class X answer-sheets. Since class X Board exams are optional, the number of answer-sheets to be handled on the first go will be much less than the total workload.<\/p>\n<p>CBSE will start checking class XII answer-sheets on-screen in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>According to CBSE, the new system will enhance quality and speed of the process as well as transparency in evaluation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to introduce on-screen marking of answer-sheets for classes X and XII from next session.
