However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page, challan if fee is paid by e-challan, for future reference<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility_Rules_2018\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Eligibility Rules 2018<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Minimum_Qualifications_for_becoming_Teacher_for_Classes_I-V_Primary_Stage\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)<\/li>\n<li>Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.<\/li>\n<li>Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).<\/li>\n<li>Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.<\/li>\n<li>Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Minimum_Qualifications_for_becoming_Teacher_for_Classes_VI-VIII_Elementary_Stage\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).<\/li>\n<li>Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).<\/li>\n<li>Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.<\/li>\n<li>Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).<\/li>\n<li>Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A\/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed\/B.Sc.Ed.<\/li>\n<li>Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Note\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Note:<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: upper-roman;\" start=\"1\">\n<li>Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC\/ST\/OBC\/Differently abled.<\/li>\n<li>Diploma\/Degree Course in Teacher Education: For the purposes of this Notification, a Diploma\/Degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.ED (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Training to be undergone: A person with D.Ed (Special Education) or qualification shall undergo, after appointment , an NCTE recognized 6-month Special Programme in Elementary Education.<\/li>\n<li>The minimum qualifications referred above apply to teachers of Languages, Social Studies\/Social Science, Mathematics, Science etc. In respect of teachers for Physical Education, the minimum qualification norms for Physical Education teachers referred to in NCTE Regulation, dated 3rd November, 2001 (as amended from time to time) shall be applicable. For teachers of Art Education, Craft Education, Home Science, Work Education, etc. the existing eligibility norms prescribed by the State Governments and other school managements shall be applicable till such time the NCTE lays down the minimum qualifications in respect of such teachers.<\/li>\n<li>A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 29th July 2011 shall be eligible for appearing in the CTET.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate should satisfy his\/her eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible in case he\/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria. It is to be noted that if a candidate has been allowed to appear in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test it does not imply that the candidate\u2019s eligibility has been verified. It does not vest any right with the candidate for appointment. The eligibility shall be finally verified, by the concerned recruiting agency \/ appointing authority.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CTET_Online_form_2018\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #993300;\">CTET Online form 2018<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Log on to CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in<\/p>\n<p>Go to the link \u201cApply On-line\u201d and open the same.<\/p>\n<p>Read the instructions carefully before filling-up the on-line <strong>Application Form<\/strong> and click on the link \u201cProceed to Apply Online\u201d (at the bottom of the screen) to apply online and follow Four Simple Steps:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>STEP 1 Fill in the on-line <strong>application form<\/strong> Part-I and note down the registration number. After Final Submission, follow step 2 for uploading images of latest photograph and signature.<\/li>\n<li>STEP 2 Upload Scanned Images of latest photograph and signature in the online application form Part-II. For details, please refer page no 2 of this Information Bulletin. After uploading photograph and signature, the page will automatically be shifted to next step i.e. Fee Payment.<\/li>\n<li>STEP 3 Make payment of fee through Debit\/Credit Card or download e-challan for payment in the designated accounts of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank. After successful submission of fee, follow<\/li>\n<li>step 4. STEP 4 Take print out of Confirmation page for completing Part-IV and keep it for future reference along with copy of e-challan, (if fee paid through e- challan). The candidates are advised NOT to send the hard copy of the application\/confirmation page to CBSE\/CTET .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click on \u201cProceed to apply online\u201d, follow the instructions carefully and fill the Application Form. After filling all the required information on the Application Form click \u201cNext\u201d or \u201cReset\u201d button. \u201cNext\u201d button proceed for \u201cReview Page\u201d and \u201cReset\u201d button resets all the fields of Application Form filled by the candidate.
