INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING ONLINE APPLICATION FOR CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME OF SCHOLARSHIP FOR <\/strong>COLLEGE <\/strong>AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS-2010<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

All conditions are mandatory and<\/strong>applicable to all categories of applicants <\/strong><\/p>\n

a.\u00a0 The applicant should be an Indian national<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0 The applicant should have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination\u00a0 2010 conducted by CBSE and\u00a0 have secured the total aggregate marks (in first five subjects) equal or above the following minimum marks as per the stream opted by the applicant:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Minimum Total Aggregate Marks for all categories (SC\/ST\/OBC\/UR) to apply for Scholarship (Marks in first five subjects)<\/strong><\/td>\n408\/500<\/td>\n380<\/strong>\/500<\/td>\n334<\/strong>\/500<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

c.\u00a0\u00a0 The applicant should be pursuing higher studies and have taken admission in Under Graduation regular course (not correspondence or distance mode) from\u00a0 recognized\u00a0 Educational Institutions in India<\/p>\n

d.\u00a0 The applicant should not be availing any other scholarship<\/p>\n

e.\u00a0\u00a0 Total Annual Income of parents of the applicant from all sources should not exceed Rs 4.5 lakh per annum<\/p>\n

f.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The applicant should not belong to creamy layer as defined by DoP&T from time to time. (Govt. of India, Dept. of Per. & Trg., OM No. 36033\/S\/2004-Estt. (Res.), dated 14-10-2004) (This is applicable to all categories of applicants both \u2018general\u2019 and \u2018reserved\u2019)<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Rs 2000\/- per month for two years after Graduation<\/td>\nTo be disbursed lump sum Amount of Rs.20,000\/-\u00a0 at end of academic year.<\/td>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Number of scholarships will be distributed amongst pass out of the Science, Commerce and Humanities in ratio of 3:2:1. Reservation to SC, ST, OBC and PH will be as per guidelines of the Govt of India.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Mode of Disbursal of Scholarship<\/strong><\/td>\na.\u00a0 Scholarship amount shall be sent to the selected candidate\u2019s Bank Account only by ECS (Electronic Clearing System) mode.<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0 Applicants are requested to open Bank Account in his\/her name in a branch of any Scheduled Nationalised\/ commercial Bank which has ECS facility.\u00a0 Applicants are advised to provide their Bank Account number, Bank Name and detail address of the Bank and the correct RTGS\/NEFT branch code of the Bank.<\/p>\n

c.\u00a0\u00a0 No request for sending the amount of scholarship by Draft or in account of parents or joint account will be entertained<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Renewal of Scholarship<\/strong><\/td>\na.\u00a0 For renewal of Scholarship, applicant has to apply on separate renewal form. Applicant should have passed in all the subjects in semester\/annual examinations with not less than 60 % marks in the aggregate of 2 semester or annual examinations and have maintained 75 % attendance, good discipline and not involved in ragging activities etc.<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0 Scholarship once cancelled will not be revived under any circumstances.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Last Date of Receipt of Online Application for CSSS-2010\u00a0\u00a0 31st<\/sup> Dec, 2010<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

How to apply for Scholarship:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Check eligibility criteria<\/p>\n

B.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If eligible, obtain the Bank Details of your Account, RTGS\/NEFT branch code of the bank from the Bank Manager.<\/p>\n

C.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fill the application form of Scholarship online.<\/p>\n

D.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Application form and Joining report will be generated online and these may be printed on A4 size paper.<\/p>\n

E.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Get the Joining report verified from Institution\u2019s Head from where course is being pursued.<\/p>\n

F.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Get the Income affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10\/- duly sworn in before Notary Public\/First class Executive Magistrate\/Revenue Officer.<\/p>\n

G.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Send the Online generated Application Form along with the following documents :<\/p>\n
