CBSE has approached the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore for strategic collaboration to provide training to Principals of Senior Secondary Schools affiliated to CBSE.\u00a0 Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has come forward to conduct a training programme in the year 2008.\u00a0 Eminent educationists will be conducting these programmes in the IIM, Bangalore campus.\u00a0 The five day programmes will have the following objectives:-<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To empower Principals through professional upgradation.
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To expose participants to relevant management concepts in education.
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To understand the need to enhance the organizational issues to provide quality education.
\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To network with the relevant stakeholders and manage the external environment of the school.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fee for the training programme will be Rs. 25000\/- per participant <\/strong>which will include the training fee, boarding and lodging of the participants at the venue, stationery and reading materials.<\/p>\n

Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has come forward to allot a total of four slots for training programmes in the academic year 2008-09.\u00a0 The dates for these training programmes are as under:-<\/p>\n

Programme 1\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0: December 8 to December 12, 2008
\nProgramme 2\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0: December 15 to December 19, 2008
\nProgramme 3\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0: January 27 to January 31, 2009
\nProgramme 4\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0: February 16 to February 20, 2009<\/p>\n

Principals who are interested in participating in this training programme are requested to complete the registration form (The form has been send to their respective schools) and send it to the following address:-\u00a0 Shri Shashi Bhushan, HOD(Edusat & Voc Edn), CBSE, “Shiksha Kendra”, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi\u2013 110 092.\u00a0 The letter can also be emailed to: cbseedusat12@rediffmail.com\u00a0\u00a0 with a copy to aeoasedof@yahoo.co.in<\/p>\n
