CLASS – XII (2018– 19)

Time: 3 hours Marks: 100
I. Course content: A-D- Summative
(Class XII: 6-7 periods x30 weeks=180-210 periods( 1 period = 35-40 min)
GENKOUYOUSHI TO BE PROVIDED FOR ESSAY WRITING

  1. Reading comprehension: 25 marks : 40 periods
    Comprehend simple graph, chart, figure, related to syllabus
    Unseen passages related to syllabus – short stories, articles, poster showing details of plan for a trip, picture description. 25 marks
    Writing skills: 25 marks: 45 periods
  2. Guided paragraph writing on the following topics
    in about 400 characters to be done in the Genkoyoushi only. No marks deducted for spelling mistakes. 15 marks

1st Term:

  1. 学校を卒業したら- when I graduate
  2. インドの有名なたてものをしょうかいする。
    Please introduce any famous monument / building of India.

2nd Term:

  1. さいきんのニュース
  2. 携帯電話はひつようかふひつようか。 Keitai denwa wa hitsuyou ka /fuhitsuyou ka? (Is a cellphone necessary/unnecessary?)
    2.5marks for logical cohesion and construction, 2.5 marks for use of correct grammar and vocabulary, 2.5 mark for kanji used.

1st Term:

  1. Famous personalities of Japan -MIYAZAKI HAYAO SAN- Japanese to English
  2. Jidouhambaiki/ ATM no tsukaikata – English to Japanese (use of automatic vending machine/ ATM)

2nd Term:

  1. Gakkou no seikatsu – a comparison with your country

C) Grammar: 25 marks: 50 periods
1st term lesson 32-35(4lessons)
2nd term-lesson 36-38 (3 lessons)

D) Script: (N4 list after class XI kanjis, both reading and writing)
Total kanjis 161- 220 from N4 kanji list – for boards . 25 marks: 45 periods
