What is basic difference between emulsification of fat and digestion of fat?

Emulsification is a term used to describe fats that have formed into globules (called micelles) the hydrophobic fat is surrounded by something like a phospholipid (having a hydrophilic and hydrophobic component.)

Chemical digestion would be actually breaking apart the chemical bonds of the fat
