Solution : let total number of people = x

Number of female = {tex}6x\over 8{/tex}

No of male = Total people - no of female

{tex}x - {6x \over 8} = {2x\over 8}{/tex}

According To Ques,

{tex}=> {6x\over 8} = 36 + {2x\over 8}{/tex}

{tex}=> {6x\over 8} - {2x\over 8} = 36{/tex}

{tex}=> {4x\over 8} = 36 {/tex}

=> x = 72

So No.of male = {tex}=> {2\over 8} \times 72 = 18{/tex}
