{tex} - 17x - 12{x^2} + 15x - 19{x^4} + 13{x^4} - 3{x^2}{/tex}

{tex}c{\mathop{\rm lub}} \,the\,like\,terms{/tex}

{tex} = - 17x + 15x - 12{x^2} - 3{x^2} - 19{x^4} + 13{x^4}{/tex}

{tex} = - 2x - 15{x^2} - 6{x^4}{/tex}

{tex}on\,putting\,x = 3{/tex}

{tex}= - 2\left( 3 \right) - 15{\left( 3 \right)^2} - 6{\left( 3 \right)^4}{/tex}

{tex} = - 6 - 15 \times 9 - 6 \times 81{/tex}

{tex} = - 6 - 135 - 481{/tex}

{tex} = - 627{/tex}
