{tex}on\,putting\,a = 2\,and\,b = 3{/tex}

{tex} = - 2\left[ {{{\left( 2 \right)}^2} + 2 \times 3} \right] + 3 + 2 \times 3{/tex}

{tex} = - 2\left[ {4 + 6} \right] + 3 + 6{/tex}

{tex} = - 2 \times 10 + 9{/tex}

{tex} = - 20 + 9{/tex}

{tex} = - 11{/tex}
