  1. Permanent magnet is not so strong, but electromagnet is very strong.
  2. The strength of permanent magnet can't be changed, but that of electromagnet can be changed by changing the number of turns or the amount of current.
  3. Permanent magnet has permanent magnetism, but the  magnetism in electromagnet is temporary.
  4. The polarity of permanent magnet can't be changed, but that of an electromagnet can be changed by and negative terminals.

Electromagnet is artificial temporary magnet .to is man made have strong magnetic field but permanent magnent is natural magnet and have weak magnet field
