CBSE has provided an online webpage to display the Status of Verification of Marks Cases for Main Exam 2010 for Delhi Region Students. These students check the result of Re-Checking/ verification/Re-evaluation of Marks for the exam held in March 2010.

The result for other regions will be sent by the concerned regional offices.
The “Statement of Subject wise Performance” to be issued to all candidates will reflect the Grade, Grade Point (GP) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is the average of Grade Points obtained in all the subjects (excluding 6th additional subject as per Scheme of subjects).
Based upon Grade point (GP) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), indicates percentage of Marks can be computed as under.
Subject wise indicative percentage of marks =9.5xGP of the subject.
Overall indicative percentage of marks =9.5xCGPA.
CBSE has issued a sample format of Grade sheet to be issued to class 10 students this year. This is statement of subject wise performance for the students who have given their class 10 board exam in March 2010.
This Grade sheet clears that marks will not be displayed in this performance sheet. There will be only grades. Students will be awarded grade points for each subject and they will get a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for all 5 subjects.
Students can obtain subject wise indicative percentage of marks by multiplying GP of the subject with 9.5. Overall indicative percentage of marks can be obtained by multiplying CGPA with 9.5.

CBSE class 12 result is out and now Class 10 CBSE Students are waiting for the result in Grades for the first time. The Result in form of grades is new experience and students are very excited.
Class 10 CBSE Board Result is to be declared on 28th May 2010 this year. CBSE Result for class 10 is special this year as it is last board exam for Senior Secondary Schools.

Facility of verification of marks is available to all candidates. The candidates can apply for verification of marks in a manner that their applications reach the respective regional office(s) within 21 days of the declaration of result in case of Main Exam i.e. Exam held in March/April. However for Comptt Exam, i.e. Exam held in July, the application must reach respective regional offices with in 15 days of the declaration of the result.

(B) Candidates may apply on the Photostat format of verification form also.
(C) Verification fee per subject is Rs.100/-.

The First chance compartmental examination will commence on 17th July, 2010. Candidates will route their requests through the Head of institution. The Heads of Institutions will ensure that the list of compartmental candidates reaches the respective regional office by 23rd of June, 2010.

Class IX Summative Assessment II – Eligibility for Improvement
This is in continuation of CBSE circular no.40/29.9.2009 regarding introduction of Grading at Class IX and X from the Academic Session 2009-10. As per above circular, the Board has discontinued the practice of declaring ‘Compartment’ or ’Fail’. Further, it has also been informed that candidates who have obtained Grade ‘E1’ or ‘E2’ are required to improve their performance in subsequent five attempts. Read the rest of this entry »
Sample Question Papers in all subjects have been revised, published and uploaded on the Board’s website for March 2010 examination.
A special feature is the publication of sample question papers in the subjects of Computer Science, Multi Media and Web Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Home Science, Engineering Graphics, in class XII and foundation of Information Technology in class X for the first time. The Summative assessment will be in the form of a pen-paper test conducted by the schools themselves. In order to ensure standardization and to ensure uniformity, the Question Paper Banks in different subjects are being sent by the Board to schools in February 2010. In order to cater to the difference in the pace at which students respond to questions, schools will give flexible timing to students for attempting the question papers. The CBSE telephonic helpline is one of the services provided to the students for counseling. CBSE Tele-Helpline has started from 1st of Feb. and will continue till 8th April, 2010. For the First time this year, CBSE introduced a Centralized Access System similar to that of a call centre.
For further convenience of the students, a toll free number has now been installed. Students can call 1800 11 7002 from any part of the country. The operators will answer general queries and also connect them to the counselors for psychological counseling.
