Inspite of the fact that students are repeatedly told by the CBSE board to lay stress on NCERT books ,the question papers often contain questions which are either not based on NCERT books or are twistedway beyond the comprehension of the students .papers should always test what the children know rather than the opposite.On one hand we talk about improving the education system and on the other sadistic pleasure is derived in making them squirm under pressure.
I hope the esteemed board will take a serious view of this matter and ensure such discrepancies do not occur again.
Iwould also like to take this opportunity to thank the board for giving 15 minutes reading time time to the students. It helps them to settle down and face the exam more calmly.

There is a great depression among present 10th standard batch as there are many changes that they are hearing and they are now totally confused.My request is that Can the board make NO CHANGES FOR THE CURRENT BATCH . ANY CHANGES SHOULD BE INTRODUCED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR AND NOT AT THE END SO THAT STUDENT CAN PREPARE THEMSELVES MENTALLY.

This is to bring to your kind notice that the Physics Paper for class 12th which was held on 3rd March 2010 was quite lengthy and the students found it difficult to attempt all the questions.
My daughter who has secured very good p.c. in class 10th exams, also found it difficult to attempt all the questions, though she knew the answers.
Is CBSE doing anything in this regard to give some relief to the students.

sir, board exams r well.only the physics exam was not so good.i will never want to say that paper was tough.in my view,paper was easy.as the above given feedbacks r saying that matter was out of ncert.this is quiet wrong because something should be there which will check our mental capability and the application of concepts given in ncert books.the main problem occured with me was the time was veryyyyyyyyyyy limited.that`s why, in spite of that i was able to solve all the questions ,i left 3-4 questions.i was feeling very bad because i knew those questions and still left them due to lack of time.if possible the physics exam should be conducted again without interfaring the level of toughness.but time should be managed in a well defined manner.

After 72 hours of terrible mental anguish and anxiety and after tossing around in the office between one person to another with harshest and most cruel treatment (as if we had committed some grave crime), what was revealed by the authorities (R.O.) was even more agonizing. That the answer sheet of one of the subjects could not be traced due to which the marks scored in other 4 subjects also could not be declared. And, the only solution, they said, was to re-appear in that paper…
That means what……….? That she will suffer the ill-fate of compartment result for no fault of her? That she will lose her academic year for the lapse by CBSE? How can CBSE justify such a punishment to us??????????

In previous years, there will be board exam……and all students will wait for 10th result and based on the marks they will join plus1 and plus2…..that time only marks decides the students to join.
But in CCE since there is no marks, all the schools are taking this as advantage and they are collecting lakhs as fee for plus1 and they have started the school without getting 10th result. So this CCE leads to spend more money from students and schools are earning a lot. This is unfair.

sir, it would not be fare to conduct aieee at two different dates. cbse cannot give extra benefit to any of the student as aieee is a very prestigius exam. so i urge to conduct aieee again for all the 11 lakh applicants on some resheduled date so as to give equal opportunity to all. i’m also among one of the 32400 students left for the exam, but still i want it to be conducted for all again.

the grades of class IX are entered wrongly.This matter has already been infromed to the school authorities. Understand from the school that there are more anomalies notised in case of SA marks(std IX) in the marks entered by the CBSE. Kindly do the needful to get it corrected . Pl. We as a school had done on-line registration for Mass Media in 2010 when we were invited by cbse to apply for this newly introduced subject. It is a popular subject and 32 students have opted for it.
We have still not received formal approval from the office at Delhi. The Chennai region office does not accept our online registration of candidates because they have received no intimation from Delhi.
It has become a very frustrating experience of letters and explanations.

My name is Karthik (9th STD ) and I’m from Kerala. I’m writing this comment to tell you about the difficulties faced by the students because of special classes. My class has special classes from Monday to Friday From my class almost 15 students go to the same tuition class which is scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:15 am-7:30 am every week. Since we have special classes every day, we are forced to leave our tuition classes early during the above mentioned days. As we travel to the school in private buses we face another problem of ST. As we take concession tickets, the buses won’t stop when they see the students. It once happened that one day we were late to our physics special class and when asked the reason, we told that the buses were not helping and we had wait till a bus stopped to let us enter. Our sir then asked why we came in private buses. We mentioned about our tuition. Then we asked him whether he could change the day of the class. He was angry and asked us to either not to go for tuition or change the time of tuition. As we already go this early for tuition, we could ask our tuition teacher to start the tuition earlier.

2018 boards are about to start. Plus answer the query on an urgent basis. Sir case has started capital market operations as an additional subject.does case count this subject while considering 5 best subjects to compute percentage of toppers. If I have combination of English, economics, accounts maths bst, maths being fifth subject and capital market dealers module sixth subject will u consider maths for computation of percentage or capital market operations or one which is better among both. And sir there is serious confusion regarding how to prepare for maths. Some people say focus on ncert others Rd others recommend books of arihant. Sir repeatedly we hear boards maths paper was out of ncert.sir if a student starts doing Rd he would repeat 12 th 3 times or more. Sir serious request to set board paper only from ncert. The cbse science board examination held on 15.03.2018 was very easy and all questions are staright forward. The problem is we did not have enough time to complete the paper as it was lengthy. I would like to inform you that the question asked in class 10 the cbse science paper about gustatory and olfactory receptors was not correctly printed .Many of the students had written the answer as “toungue” and “nose ” but these are receptor organs . Receptors are ” fungiform Pappilae” and “veronomous receptor”.In that question it was not clearly mentioned that we have to write about organs.

The SOCIAL SCIENCE paper for class 10 held on 22nd March 2018 was good except one question in the map work …. Although the answer is ahmedabad according to the statement given in the question for notifying the area, but the area marked on the map was not of ahmedabad but of kheda… So, I request cbse to look into this matter and give grace if possible because the location which was marked in the question map is not the correct location of the answer asked for…. Though I can’t approach anyone as the map which was provided was to be returned along with the answer sheet but many of my friends also confirmed that the location was incorrect…

In cbse class 10 science exam 2018,there is a mistake in the 14th question.It asked for a salt to make crispy pakoras with ph 14.The ph value given here is wrong.Actually the value is 9.Will cbse compensate this error.

Sir, It is an earnest request and a meaningful suggestion from my side that CBSE should conduct re-examination of mathematics for class 10 all over the country. Since, it’s a matter of paper leak. Sir, I am a student of class 12 CBSE our Legal Studies paper held on 7 April 2018 was set in a tough pattern as compared to previous years paper. Moreover there was no time gap given to us after the political science exam which was held day before on 6 April 2018.The legal studies subject carries 100 mark for theory without any practical. I have recently appeared for my BOARD EXAMS from CBSE..My last exam which was conducted on 29 March 2019 was Social Science..Sir I had got SET 3 in which a 5 marker question came from the chapter political parties in which we were asked to write the name of the regional parties of each state and STATE THE ELECTION SYMBOL.. However the names of the election symbol of regional parties are NOT GIVEN in NCERT only their SYMBOL is DRAWN that too so small in size that it is not even clear…Sir this question is not at all expected and has been given from a map which was an extra information..In other sets comparatively very easy question came such as differentiating the 10 given parties as regional or national..They were not even asked election SYMBOL.. Sir this is injustice and question is inappropriate..Kindly take action on this and we should be given grace marks..

I have seen CBSE welcomes FeedBack from schools,students,parents and also considers it and reply for it at the earliest.. which has to be appreciated. I am giving this feedback on behalf of so many students who really wish to give their feedback but don’t dare to do it.
My son is studying Cbse 12th science stream(Physics, Maths, Chemistry and computer science) outside India ans will be appearing for 2020 board exam.This year CBSE has Made changes in the question paper pattern which is really good and helps them to go through the subject in detail, but what concerns is especially related to physics, till last year weightage of marks related to numericals was 15 marks for 70(which i have seen in last year blue print and i am sending a part of the design of physics paper by CBSE ) but this time in sample paper 2019 we can see numericals for more than 35 marks which is almost 50% of 70.which really put students in pressure.First of all 75%of the students are not comfortable with Physics and volume of the Syllabus and numericals and when they come out of examination hall we have seen complaining about physics numericals like it was tough,we did not expect this etc, and most of the students score less in physics . hence i request to restrict numericals at least to 33% of 70 which comes to 23 marks and not more than that.. Design of the question paper for last year in which it is clearly mentioned that A Weightage of about 15 marks in total, has been assigned to numericals , i have sent you a part for your reference.

One more point to be considered is, this time since CBSE is planning to conduct major subject exams little early that is in FEB and wants to finish exams fast.This type of information should not be given in middle of the year. Sould be informed to schools one year before so that they will plan the Accademic year properly to finish the portions little early .otherwise they will finish the portions in a hurry.Board should consider that students will not get enough time for revising subjects because volume is more with lot of derivations ,numericals,theory etc…. And hence at least while designing the Exam time table ,This should be taken into consideration and minimum gap of at least 4 days should be given for major subjects like Maths, Physics and Chemistry etc .( because i have seen last year date sheet only 2days gap was given to physics) . for other subjects they can manage if it is little less also .hence I request the Board not to hurry and finish all the exams within 15 days.

As a parent Iwould like to state that my child appearing class X board had applied for mathematics (Basic which was expected to be easier than the (standard).But it was quite reverse that inspite of ample practice from NCERT . Fifty percent of the Basic paper was from outside . Although Imyself was updated with cbse guidelines.
The Basic paper has totally demoralised the children leading them to stress for scoring less and loosing the percentage

It’s that before COVID my academics were ok(got above 90% marks) but after lockdown and constant staying away from education environment and then taking online exam the drastic change in marks that I have observed is very pathetic….Now the main thing is that board is very near as previous year there was no exam but this year it is happening …..I respect your decision but how I will cope up and increase my marks..???… I am just blank….. . As a parent of 10 th standard board student parent. As per the cbse exam pattern of this present batch 2021-22 student appearing the board exams in offline mode. It is really painful as a parent in this situation due to the pandemic situation where the school was not completely functioning for all children, no proper teacher in school…teachers changing frequently, weather condition is worst heavy rain childrens and adults getting cold and fever…if the board provide isolation room for the children who effected with cold and fever is completely not fair. Because that is time that body needs more care and protection, need complete rest under medication with doctor’s advice. Physically mentally they can be brisk to concentrate on their exam. In usual school days if any children was not feeling well. The school will immediate take a call to parents and send their ward to home. And another disappointment is about cbse board, not given proper training for 10 th grade children in school level for the board exam, timetable no received from the board in prior, so many false news no exam, online office confusion, 30 th November exam showing in google search… All this information the children become very relax and no serious on their studies. x maths (Basic) paper was comparitively tough than maths (Standard).

It’s very sad to see that CBSE teachers are being payed very less and the work load given to them is uncountable.When there is CBSE inspection the teachers are made to sign the salary slip which shows much more salary than the real payment the teachers get in hand.Schools are making teachers slog under very less payment .
It’s not about one school most of the schools are doing this.

As known each question carries 0.7 mark and no of questions to be written is 45 the awarded marks is 35 . But if each question’s mark is rised to 1.28 then the marks awarded to the students would rise .

This message is in response to the MCQ based board Term 1 class X
I wish to bring to your attention the problems faced by a lot of students in science and maths .
1) The papers were very lengthy. If that was the case they should have been given 2 hours .
2) keeping in mind the pandemic situation and the condition under which the students had studied the papers should have had well balanced difficulty level ,
3) science was also mostly numerical making it very lengthy .
4) you must understand that this pattern was new for the students and the teachers and they had not much to go by .
5) I sincerely urge you to look into this because I am very sure that most ‘average students ‘ have faced difficulties
Being a CBSE student myself I was a little taken aback because CBSE Is a well balanced and a humane board . Considering the stressful situation Right now I feel the papers should have been considerate !!!! This has shaken up the confidence of a lot of students I know and dissuaded them from pursuing standard maths further. Why create a climate of fear of academics in an already stressful time ! I hope and trust you will look into the issue and find a solution as CBSE is always true to its students .

I think CBSE Should decrease the weightage of the Objective Board Exams for class 10th from 40% to 20% or 10% as it is one of our first exposure to Objective paper. CBSE Should increase the weightage of Subjective paper as it shows the total understanding of the candidate in each subject.
for Class 12th, it’s not the case because they previously had given national level exams like NTSE, JEE, NEET, etc. and they had Chosen their favorite subject’s where Class 10th Candidates hadn’t.

I’m adhyoytha yesterday was our preboard descriptive tym we guys found too much hard to write that exam because we prepare on the bases of mcq as term one examination did. I took so such effort to study mcq type question and we did it but know it is saying that it will be descriptive , i don’t know how to explain that in simple words I do found so much difficulty in writing descriptive tym answers and we get mark for it or not I don’t know . I am student of class 10th, of a school affiliated to C.B.S.E. .
I want to tell you that the decision to increase the weightage of Term-2 Exam & decrease the weightage of Term-1 Exam is not a fair decision. Instead of it, C.B.S.E. can fix the weightage of term-2 Exam as 50% and 10% for Term-1 Exam, rest 40% should be reserved for the Candidates public speaking Confidence, way of talking, Creativity, etc. which can be achieved by introducing a new exam of “Preparing Models of each Subject” but with the collaboration of two candidates of different genders, after that evaluation should be taken within the allotted center’s premises. This will definitely show up the real performance of the candidate.
C.B.S.E. should also take up the Top 5 scoring subjects in the Result including the Skill Subject.
At last, Hoping C.B.S.E. will take correct decision and the performance of this session’s candidate will get a 2nd chance to boost up there Percentage in the Board Class.
Requesting C.B.S.E. to take up decision as soon as possible so that Candidates can prepare for it.

Dear Sir, in 10th term 2 English exam held on 27-4-2022, in section B (Grammer) question no.4 is not logically correct. 3rd line has error but space not given infront whereas 4th line doesn’t but space given which leads to confusion since the sentence end with 5th line. If 3rd&4th together is one sentence then the question is right. Pl look into it since students being known the answer did mistakes as question is logically incorrect.

In cbse maths standard exam of class 10 term 2 question.no 12 in set 1 and set 2 was set unfairly . In set 1 it was very difficult and in set 2 it was very easy . Please take a look at this . Thank you very much sir for supporting students .

Cbse has destroyed my life this time, in class 12 I broke my friends and families trust by scoring so much low percentage in class 12 in 2022 , though cbse was knowing that term 1 had lead us to very bad situation, still you gave us only 3 months for preperation which is too less for. Pcm student and others also, every child cannot afford tuitions or online coachings like akash Or meirientation , can u believe it integration was done in 22 days is it possible that child can do this whole chapter with fully conceptualizing it in 22 days in school , yet I tried much harder but i couldn’t do it, I failed myself just bcz of your board, I will suggest to go for icse board to parents,student will be a book bug but it will not break their families from getting worse marks, plz do not destroy again other students life, or make them feel that they cannot see even in their parents eyes do not let this happen.
A student would suggest you that how they feel about exam so you can change policy for them you can understand them, in todays day of life everyone sees percentage if he would have got 50-60 they consider them as average or nothing no one think of them but they do not ask this that did they tried hard or what they have gone through, I am not saying idea was worse of conducting exam in two phase, you should think of it carefully as you are everything to us, every school of cbse follows your policy, but keep us in your place why cbse is not getting above icse , why there is decrease this year in students academics , not this year from past 5 years ,you know everything how much percentage of students passed each year or how much have got good marks, why child cannot understand studies , like they can tell you abou a movie whole movie after 1 year also, but why not in studies, do something sir, our students life is based on your decision. Every child suicides due to peer pressure of studies and marks, why every year child suicides, I was going to hang myself but cannot, thought that i will give myself a chance, though I know with this percentage what can i do not a college if there are then at placement time in interview they see our marksheet and judge us, why this sir.
I hope you will find a good way to get children’ in a studies with flow, if not then that students who died will be in your name they died of nothing then. I hope you will find a trick to get students interest in studies that they do like studies and can remember the things they have learnt in class, mostly students forget things after revision also why sir, are they not liking studies or way of studying, why sir?
My life is completely destroyed and in whole life cannot give my parents a happy day, I tried to get good marks and make my parents proud of me and make them happy from 6th class but I passed the class 12 now till now the day hasn’t came up in their and my life.
One more question look at the seta of class 12 and 10 sets carefully are we granted, unfair, this act of yours makes us think that we are tossted, our fate is not good can’t do anything we thing this while giving exam. So is this good, check each set yourself.

Sir, syllabus covered by various schools is not same .Till September if we see syllabus some schools teaching chapter 1,2,3,5,7,9. Another doing chapter 1,2,10,12,14. Another one chapters 2,3,4,6,8. I think all schools should follow same syllabus month wise. If parents of any student are transferred than it will e good as schedule is fixed. I sincerely request to review the Hindi textbook syllabus for all classes. They are so outdated and do not relate to kids of this generation. They should be motivated to read the book which should be informative and contain information relevant to today’s context rather than having concepts related to 1900s. They have History subject for teaching history. Societal issues currently happening can be highlighted not about caste based issues that the society faces.

Why is it that CBSE has made 60 the compulsory age for retirement of teachers, when we are NOT GETTING good teachers to teach our children? Does it make sense to retire teachers who are fit and fine to continue to offer value to the educational system?

I’ve passed my 12th standard in the year 2022 and the valuation method has really disappointed and discouraged me. I humbly advice you to bring more transparency and standardization in the system. The meritorious students weren’t able to score 90+ just because they weren’t lucky enough to find an examiner who could give them the marks for the content and not the length, the knowledge and not the mugging up skill.
If competitive exams can be taken in online mode board exams too can be. Atleast this would ensure that no candidate is given different marks for the same answer. This can save the lives of the students sir/ma’am.

Hello sir, I am speaking as general public.
I have suggestion for C.B.S.E which would help in increasing the integrity and respect of people towards C.B.S.E .
We all aware of, how many students who copy(cheats) solutions of questions from someone else given in an exam. Due to this many things happen. To name some, people who don’t study get good marks and pass the exam, later in life due to lack of knowledge in life ,some of these people remain unemployed leading to increased unemployment rate + low contribution in country’s GDP. Second ,people who really study hard and score good are not encouraged because even the students who can be identified as “students that don’t study” get same amount of marks that a student scores who can be identified as a “student who studies ” study ,then why will be student who studies get encouraged.
To encounter this I come up with a really easy solution. Most of the schools under C.B.S.E have classrooms with cameras. So, a portal or a whatsapp /instagram / telegram group consisting of parents ( whose children’s study in the school ) gets created and we share the footage of the exam conducted ,which any parent can see and judge themselves on how their child writing the exam. Also ,if a parent sees any child -(rather than their own) copying from someone else then they can simply report it to the school, just by mentioning the time of incident and the positioning of the student as it may happen that the father/mother forgives their child after seeing him/her cheating but others won’t and someone will report.No extra effort will be needed from the school expect providing the footage to the parents.
Above steps will help children in short term and long term. Former being getting good marks and latter being getting good employment.

Sir I am a student of class 10th cbse board from Banda(U.p.) at St George school so my complaint is that my school teacher don’t complete our syllabus of I.T and take a pre board with full syllabous so kindly see on this matter
This is been observed that in current CBSE exam . Question has three sets . One is very easy as per the discussion with students giving exam .other two are very hard .
So Board should see that the question is different in all three sets . It should be same in jumbling manner . Other wise there will be issues. One set is tough and hard other sets are easy.

Class 12 Physics exam was really tough. Section B and C questions were difficult. The case study was also seemed too difficult to answer .

Sir I have a query I got compartment in 10th class in maths in 2022 at my first attempt I was not able to give it because of sickness and at second attempt I missed form date so sir my question is will I able to give the third attempt in 2023 compartment exam in maths?or how can I give?I am student.

I am Nav×××× student of Class-12th in Punjab region (CBSE). I have opted PCM as my stream. As on 12 May, 2023 our result was announced. I got minimum marks in Maths subject which was 54 out of 100 where in my additional 6th subject I.T. (802) I got 91 marks out 100. After calculting my Percentage of 5 subjects (English, Physical Education, Maths, Physics, Chemistry) it was 74.6 % exact. But, If I follow criteria best of 5 subject marks and replaces Maths with I.T. (802) my percentage will boost upto 82 % Therefore, I want to ask CBSE authorities ‘Best of 5 subjects’ can be considered for percentage evaluation or only 5 Main subjects will be taken and nothing to do with I.T. (Additional Subject)….

Recently there has been a shift from MCQ questions to subjective questions in English question paper pattern, especially in the unseen passage questions. This is total nonsense ! unseen passage has always been MCQ and now you expect us to write our answers in 40-50 words and that too for just 1 marker questions. This ridiculous step taken by the board leads to wastage of time and ultimately many students can not complete their exams on time.
I am Shubham, a student of class 10 of CBSE board. I wanna ask that we have 6 subjects,i.e
English, Hindi, mathematics, science, SST and computer applications. If I fail in mathamatics so, do I have to give compartment exam for passing maths or I can replace it with computer applications..

This is regarding recent 12th board exam papers of (Physics, Chemistry), there are 3 sets, and one set is easy, 2nd set is moderate, 3rd set is extremely difficult, sir, here the problems is few students getting easy paper and few students getting tough paper, in terms of students prospective everyone should get easy paper or tough paper(with different questions), when few students attending touch paper literally it’s effecting their percentage and study career, kindly look into this series matter, do the needful,
it will help full for many students career.

Where only subjects shall be
Types of jobs and business in the world – where you are taught about different types of business and jobs in the world and what knowledge and qualifications required in doing them with some basics about global economy.
Basics of financial management – Basic understanding of types of investments like stocks , FD , Bonds , debentures etc. and financial management .
Society ethics – Basic understanding of how to behave with a women, how not throw trash here and there , not to do promote or do corruption etc.
Law – very basic understanding of law.
Basic Health : Basic understanding about mental health , sexual awareness , body health etc.
The syllabus should advanced enough to match the difficulty level of class 10th or even higher.
The syllabus can be easily be taught by existing school teachers the above mentioned knowledge is nothing rocket science.
No other course or subject should be taught in that 1 year .
Proper semester and mid exams just like other classes should be conducted for the same with compulsory passing .
I personally believe these subjects are important especially at times when students seems to be way more confused and are even mislead by their parents who are further mislead by society.
Plus i also want to say that Indias UG degrees are useless rather let students directly do MBA after all even non business students are directly doing MBA and doing school pass level skill jobs and earning good enough why waste 3 years of students doing useless UG degrees.
