Install NowThe 10th All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination (offline/pen & paper), 2011 to be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education has been rescheduled from 24.04.2011 to 01.05.2011 (Sunday) due to Easter festival.
The date of examination was mentioned as 24.04.2011 in Information Bulletins. CBSE has directed all the centers to put a notice on their notice boards regarding this change.
Now AIEEE Examination will be conducted on 01.05.2011 (Sunday) exactly after one week. The AIEEE 2011 offline /pen-paper Examination Date is changed because Easter falls on the previous date.
The sale of Information Bulletins from all selling centres will start from 22.12.2010 instead of 15.12.2010. Rest of the things/schedule will remain unchanged.
The sale of Information Bulletins was scheduled to begin on 15 December 2010 but CBSE has issued a notification to put a label on all printed bulletins about the change in exam date and labeling of printed bulletins may take some days. So it is decided to issue the AIEEE information Bulletins from 22.12.2010 again exactly one week after the scheduled date.

Re examination of AIEEE for some candidates will be discrimination for those who appeared on 1st May. At Bhubaneswar there was thunder storm in the evening and power cuts. Those who appeared for B.Arch. had to struggle with day-long fatigue, bad weather, bad light while sitting for exam till 7 PM (unlike western part of India, in East it is dark at 5.30. On 1st May at Bhubaneswar it was dark even earlier due to the thunder storm and rain.). Keeping these in mind the AIEEE should be held again for all concerned.
